- The research needs in geriatrics and ageing are extensive, ICMR identifying Health Problems of the Elderly as a priority research area.
- The Centre has dedicated space and infrastructure to support research studies in ageing and geriatrics, fostering evidence-based practice, capacity building, and policy-relevant research.
