Evaluation of cfDNA and inflammatory markers in risk stratification of young adults for metabolic syndrome

Project Description

Obesity and metabolic syndrome in the young adults are on the rise and there is a need to identify changes at an early stage and implement preventive measures. To the best of our knowledge there is limited data on the combined evaluation of cfDNA and immune inflammatory indices as markers for risk stratification of young adults for metabolic syndrome in the Indian population. This study aims to estimate cfDNA and inflammatory markers in young adults with and without obesity ,To estimate the same in adults with metabolic syndrome and to evaluate the combined usefulness of cfDNA and inflammatory markers in risk stratification of young adults for metabolic syndrome.
