Healthcare is considered of high quality when it is accessible, affordable, equitable, inclusive, timely, efficient, and is provided respectful of the socio-cultural context. Providing safe, high-quality care across the cancer disease trajectory is key to improving cure rates and consolidating the survivorship care outcomes. To achieve the above, competencies in quality improvement (QI) in using proven, and methodological approach to navigate and refine the complex multi-domain cancer-care delivery systems have become a valuable core skill for clinicians and administrators.
