A mathematical model to predict the change in direction of the common limb in Z plasty
Sunderraj Ellur 1,✉, Norman L Guido 1 The Z plasty is a common procedure used in scar revision. It is used to break the line of a scar. It can also be used to change the direction of a scar. This article presents a mathematical model to help select an appropriate angled Z to enable the planned change in the direction of the final scar.
