Infectious Diseases
- All infectious diseases are evaluated and treated in the Medicine Department. Commonly seen viral infections like URI’s, Dengue fever, hepatitis, bacterial infections like typhoid fever, tuberculosis, specific organ infections like genitourinary infections, pneumonias, pyelonephritis, meningitis, GI infections, fungal and parasitic infections are seen in the medicine OPD. Referred cases of fever of unknown origin (FUO) are evaluated and treated in OPD or otherwise admitted.
