Ambulatory Hypertension in children with kidney failure on maintenance dialysis
Kamal SZ, John M, Pais P Cardiovascular (CV) disease is the leading cause of death in children with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD).1 Indian children with CKD have a higher prevalence of CV morbidity compared to the Western pediatric CKD cohort.2 Limited data are available on the prevalence of hypertension (HTN) in children with kidney failure on maintenance dialysis.
