- Ophthalmologist with 28 years of Clinical experience in a Medical College. The department being a tertiary care referral center, I have had the experience of managing complex Ophthalmic conditions. Although I consider myself a general Ophthalmologist with interest in all Ophthalmic subspecialties, my special skill set includes Orbital diseases, Oculoplasty, Medical retina and uveitis, retinopathy of prematurity, Ocular Trauma and Neuro-ophthalmology. Expertise in these areas is evidenced by referrals from other hospitals in the city and outside and multiple peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
Surgical expertise spans All types of Cataract surgery, Orbitotomies, Glaucoma
surgeries, Laser therapy for retinopathy of prematurity and diabetic retinopathy,
and optic nerve sheath fenestration (a niche procedure).
