Dr. Uma Maheswari Krishnaswamy is a Professor in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and has over 25 years of experience in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine

  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): Focuses on epidemiology, data mining, phenotypes, and device development. She has conducted significant studies on the prevalence of OSA in patients with metabolic syndrome.
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Investigates COPD phenotypes and epidemiological trends.
  • Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD): Involved in registries and management protocols for diffuse parenchymal lung diseases.
