Experience

Research experience: 1. Attended 12th One week Online International Course in Health Research Methodology and Evidence based medicine, conducted by Division of Clinical Research & Training, St. John's Medical College & Research Institute, Bengaluru, India in collaboration with Mc. Master University, Canada from 23rd-28th November 2020. 

2. Attended Revised Basic Medical Education Technology Workshop conducted by St. John’s Medical college (NMC Nodal training Centre) conducted from 26th- 28th July 2021. 

3. Completed Online Course – Basic Course in Biomedical research (BCBR) with 81% in the proctored examination as mandated by NMC, conducted by NIE/ICMR in March 2022. 

4. Attended the training workshop on “Data Collection and data Entry using EPICOLLECT” conducted by SJRI on 7th April 2022. 

5. Attended workshop on “Ethical and Legal Usage of ChatGPT and AI tools for Academic Research and Writing” conducted by St Johns Research Institute, Bangalore on 19th October 2023. 

6. Participated in Seminar on “Medical Laws and Ethics applicable to Hospitals” on 30th November 2024 at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore organized by Catholic Hospital Association of India- Karnataka Chapter.

 7. Participated in CME Program on “Mentorship in Medical Education- Inspire, Support and Transform”, conducted on 27th June 2025 at St. Johns Medical college hospital, Bangalore. 

8. Completed “Good Clinical Practice” Certification from NIDA Clinical Trials Network Dated 28th August 2025.

 9. Attended Workshop on “Training of Medical officers in Medical management of Physical and Sexual Violence” organized by Enfold Proactive Health trust Ltd, conducted at M.S Ramaiah Medical College on 2nd August 2025.

 10. Completed “Thesis Guru-1” Workshop on Post graduate Student Guidance towards Research Proposal conducted on “online” platform from 1st- 31st August 2025 by the St. Johns Research Society, Bangalore.

Institutional portfolios/ Committees

  1. Lactation Committee Active involvement in coordinating Lactation related activities for promotion and sustenance in working women. Instrumental in Auditing the needs of Nursing mothers employed in the Academy to promote breastfeeding post-partum.
  2. Hospital Magazine Committee Section In charge for Segment on “News from Periphery” which showcases the Origins, growth, achievements, needs and collaboration of the Bond Centres with St. Johns National Academy of Health Sciences. Actively involved in Field visits to promote active collaboration and referral to the Institute. 
  3. POCSO Committee: Active member involved in coordinating Clinical care, Academic expertise, development of teaching curriculum and training of doctors, nurses and field personnel in handling POCSO cases and document processing. 
  4. NABH Audit committee- Department Co-ordinator: Actively Involved in Departmental Quality Improvement Audits for better patient care 
  5. HICC- Antibiotic Stewardship Committee- Department Co-ordinator: Involved in departmental periodic antibiotic usage and resistance pattern review and compliance to Antibiotic stewardship program. 
  6. Hospital Forms Committee: Involved in monitoring and streamlining of Requisition forms in use in the Hospital.
