Dr Nivedhitha Nikhil is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Ophthalmology. She is a trained pediatric ophthalmologist and squint specialist. She is currently pursuing PhD under ICMR- Young Medical Faculty in the area of Cerebral Visual Impairment(CVI). Her areas of interest are- pediatric and adult cataract , pediatric and adult squint. CVI, low vision, amblyopia, vision therapy. Surgical expertise includes phacoemulsification in adults, pediatric cataract surgeries and squint surgeries. She also runs the Ophthalmology and vision therapy unit at Unit of Hope, St Johns Medical College .
