Dr. Hadrian Noel Alexander F, is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, with over five years of professional experience in oncology, academics, and research. An alumnus of St. John’s Medical College, he belongs to the first batch of postgraduate trainees in Radiation Oncology at the institution. After completing his post-graduation, he joined the department as a Senior Resident and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Professor. His professional responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient oncology care, advanced radiotherapy planning and delivery, involvement in brachytherapy procedures, and active participation in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with a strong emphasis on patient-oriented, evidence-based cancer care and academic development.
• Evidence-based Radiation Oncology with emphasis on patient-centred treatment planning, counselling, and individualized care
• Radiotherapy Treatment Planning including contouring, target volume delineation, and optimal patient positioning
• Advanced External Beam Radiotherapy Techniques such as Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Electron Beam Therapy, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT)
• Specialized Radiotherapy Procedures including Total Body Irradiation (TBI), Craniospinal Irradiation (CSI), Radiotherapy under anaesthesia, and Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET)
• Brachytherapy, with major clinical experience in gynaecological malignancies and exposure to intraluminal, and surface mould techniques
• Palliative Radiation Oncology, focusing on symptom control and quality-of-life improvement
• Clinical research and medical education, with interest in treatment outcomes, quality of life, and academic mentoring
