Our physiotherapy placements in India are based at several large hospitals and a handful of smaller clinics in Trivandrum. The placements also include teaching hospitals and physiotherapy colleges so you can gain clinical experience under academic supervision, something that is very useful if you have strict guidelines to adhere to as part of a placement or elective.

Whether you’re a Pre-university student looking to gain valuable experience before applying to join a physiotherapy course or a university student looking for a placement or an elective, these projects can be tailored to your interests and experience.

The physiotherapy departments at these hospitals are well equipped with most modern therapeutic electrical and exercise equipment. They treat orthopaedic, neurological, chest, cardiology and post surgery conditions.  Commonly you will be involved in the treatment of pre and post operative fracture and cardiology patients or those with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s disease. Other conditions that you will treat will include patients with partial paralysis, joint pain and stiffness, arthritis, disk problems, heel pain, subluxations and dislocations, muscle pain, ligament and tendon injuries.
