Susan Thomas is a Clinical Neuropsychologist working in the area of global mental health research. Her work focuses on maternal mental health and child cognitive development, with an emphasis on early life and prevention-oriented approaches. She has received advanced research training through national and international fellowships, including the Fogarty Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA, and is involved in collaborative research projects with universities in India and abroad. She also mentors doctoral students and trains researchers in psychological assessment and intervention.
