I am a physician-scientist with degrees in human nutrition and physiology. I have over 35 years’ experience in teaching and research having taught a variety of students across continents. As a nutritional physiologist, I have always been keen on translating the mechanistic basis of disease to preventive strategies and therapy. I have extensive experience in academic publishing and have steered the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition (EJCN) as Editor in Chief for the last 10 years.
