I am a Professor and Head of the Department of Pain, Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care at St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore. I have over 15 years of teaching experience and am involved in patient care, teaching, research, and policy development in palliative medicine.

I have published research articles and book chapters in the field of pain and palliative care and have contributed to the development of clinical practice guidelines relevant to India. I have also helped establish palliative care services in several institutions across the country.

My work includes training doctors through regular teaching programs and online education platforms such as Project ECHO. I have participated in national and international academic activities and serve on various professional committees and boards related to palliative and supportive care
